Connecticut Post Mall To Host An Artist-In-Residence Space Starting In June

Clementina Arts Foundation based in Redding has partnered with Connecticut Post Mall to establish a new artist workspace. The Sprouting Spaces program launched on the mall’s lower level on June 1st, occupying approximately 1,472 square feet of previously vacant retail space near Macy’s lower entrance and the Black Business Alliance headquarters.
The program relocates from its previous location at Stamford Town Center and provides complimentary studio and exhibition space for mid-career contemporary artists. Selection occurs through a competitive jury process involving curators, museum directors, and art collectors. The winning artist receives a one-year residency.
