Alyse Rosner
Featured Artist
Alyse Rosner creates large scale abstract acrylic paintings on raw canvas, combining graphite rubbings, layered washes of vivid color, and obsessive mark-making.
Rosner’s work is process-driven, with each artwork serving as source material for the next. She uses found objects and examines the contradictions between natural, synthetic, and chemical elements.
Her practice explores “the overlap and urgency of autobiographical daily minutia, toxicity and nature — essentially, life and death.”
